Bushwick Babes

Hey there! Mark here!

On a recent trip to NYC I stopped by the studio of Brooklyn-based fashion designer, Kelsey Randall.  She gave me a glimpse of her upcoming collection.

For Spring/Summer 2014, Kelsey is taking inspiration from artist Louise Bourgeois, Charlotte Gainsbourg’s character in the film, The Cement Garden, children’s clothing, and her usual sexy, feminine sensibilities.

Flower crowns, vintage lace frocks, and muslin samples share rack space in the studio.

In addition to her upcoming Spring collection, Kelsey is working on a top secret collection to be entered in the Hyères International Festival of Fashion and Photography.  She’s exploring a more rock ‘n’ roll “party’s over” theme.   We think the party’s just beginning for this rising star and can’t wait to see the new collections.
