Can We Talk About…

Cool LA florists?

Business is seriously booming (or, should I say, blooming) for florists in bright, sunny California.

If you know me, you know that I have this secret dream of dropping everything and becoming a florist. I literally just want to quit everything and stuff myself in a greenhouse where my only friends are peonies, muscaris, succulents, rhaphiolepis and hellebores.

Since we’re finally starting to see spring, and basically everyone I know is about to get married, I thought it only necessary to let you know about these awesome flower magicians:

Moon Canyon

Kristen Caissie and Amy Lipnis make up the kickass team that is Moon Canyon.

Their stuff is very detail oriented. I love that they’re not only all about their product (DUH) but also into curating everything surrounding their product. Their brand is consistent and their “accessories” are always beautiful.

And their wreaths are even cooler.

They do tons of workshops, some recently in partner with my favorite LA gal, Bri Emery, in her new studio.

Twig and Twine

“Heather Williams, a Los Angeles based floral and event designer, is the brain and brawn behind Twig & Twine. She grew up wandering her mother’s and grandmother’s gardens, forming an early appreciation for the lovely blooms that grew from the ground each season.”

Puffy pinks, beautiful white and pal blues, soft yellows! Heather is all about that feminine touch.

She mostly does weddings…obviously!

And then there is Yasmine Mai.

She’s my favorite.

Isn’t she just a doll? Vintage, long dresses. Darling arrangements. Elegance and grace. It kills me!

She also teaches workshops regularly! #sharethatflowerpower
