Things are getting a little cray cray down here in New Orleans, just like we like it!
So while we’re all out currently partying, y’all can check out how we did it back in the day!
Big news, babes.
Hannah Alford, one of the Revival ladies, and I did an article for InvadeNOLA about concert style!
Our best babe Emma Roberts is going to wear Revival for her Halloween costume!
“I’m going to be Jazzercise Barbie,” the 22-year-old actress revealed.
“I was vintage shopping in New Orleans, where we’re filming the show, and I came across a Jazzercise onesie-thing and I was like, ‘I have to incorporate this into my Halloween costume somehow.”
She’s gonna look stellar. Good choice, Em!
And just for kicks, here are some vintage halloween costumes that we love!
I can’t wait to share some great things with you guys!
We interviewed our good friend Abby O’Sullivan over the weekend and are going to feature her this week, so look forward to that!
She’s a costume designer but has worn many different hats in her life.
Just an all around inspiring, creative boss lady.
For now, scroll through the hundreds of Guy Catling images with me. I’m hooked.
He’s a graphic designer from Essex and his work is quite possibly my favorite thing ever at the moment.
I love war photography and vintage photos….so this is my shit.
Check out the rest of his cool things.
Happy Sunday, babes!
For this #wcw, I’ve decided to introduce a new series AND a new lovely local lady.
Meet Jess, the beautiful face behind Jess Leigh Jewels, a local jewelry designer.
Besides being the cutest, sweetest person you’ll ever meet, she’s also hella talented.
She crafts jewelry out of passion for antique treasures. When you look at her pieces, that statement is obvious. Her designs are hand-crafted, original one-of-a-kind statement pieces.
Can we talk about this Cleopatra harness for one second?
They’re a fantastic conversation starter and a great way to dress up a casual outfit.
Her designs reflect a lot on nature. She was raised in Ohio, which has a huge influence on her designs.
She recently collaborated with Ella Rose for New Orleans Fashion Week S/S ’14. She did all the jewelry for the show, which complemented Ella’s flirtatious, girly line perfectly, including an intricate crown made of four large brooches, two antique rhinestone earrings, one vintage gold chain, rhinestone chain details and gold fill wire.
Check out her stuff:

It may be time to hit the books, but all we see is TV!!!
For this coming season we’re all about taking inspiration from 80’s and 90’s movies and shows like Freaks and Geeks and 90210.
Denim, button-ups, and 90s grunge florals are all up in our brain here at Revival. Why ditch your denim cut-offs since summer’s almost over? Just pair them with some leggings and your boyfriend’s letterman jacket. We’ve got the goods to keep you going steady all semester. You’ll be homecoming queen in no time, baby.
